After Hours call blocking in CME

Many companies have requirement to block the outgoing calls being placed after office hours. This is one the method to prevent unauthorized use of phones when staff left the office.

In this article, we will discuss how we can achieve this using CME feature called after-hours.

Step 1:

In telephony-service create a pattern which needs to blocked and specify the off hours of your company.

##### We are defining to block the pattern starting with digit 9 and 900 #####

##### Now define the off hours during which the pattern has to blocked. We are defining Sunday | Monday from 5:00 PM to midnight 12. You can define as per the needs #####

Now, by default this will be apply to all phones. In case if you need to exempt any phone from the after hours blocking, you can exempt from ephone

You can provide the security code as well to the users to override after hours blocking either in telephony service (globally) for all the phones or to individual phone.

User has to login to After-Hour Login in Services Button to input the pin which will exempt the phone from after hour blocking.
